Grab & Go AltAz Mount

Looking for an Alt Az mount with mounting plate that I can adapt to fit on a Meade field tripod (2 standard camara fitting screws). I've bought a Televue Pronto and want to add it to my holiday kit for both astro and birding. I already carry my ETX105 and a photographic tripod, so don't want another tripod. The Televue Telepod would do what I want I think, but its too expensive. Any ideas, please? My husband is a model engineer and will make me plates, tap holes etc but I have to spec any mods! Stephanie
